Your Guided Journey to Law School

Building on more than two decades of preparing aspiring legal professionals for law school success, Plus, Guided Journey seeks to increase access to justice by providing ongoing and direct support to individuals who intend to pursue law school but face structural barriers or other systemic challenges to accomplishing their goals. There is no cost to apply or participate in the program if selected.

Applying to law school can be a challenging and demanding process. The Plus, Guided Journey program is designed with that in mind; we know the application process is yours and must fit into the existing demands on your time and energy, but this doesn’t mean you need to go through it alone. The program is tailored exclusively for individuals planning to apply to U.S.-based law schools during the upcoming fall application cycle (for Plus, Guided Journey 2026, this would be individuals planning to attend law school in fall 2027). Plus, Guided Journey  accompanies and supports scholars for an entire year, engaging them as they explore the legal field, prepare for the LSAT, build their application materials, learn about financial aid, and make decisions about their future.

Law school staff and faculty engage scholars throughout their journeys through virtual synchronous and asynchronous programming, with over 45 law schools participating in 2025. With a strengths-focused and community-centered approach, Plus, Guided Journey helps aspiring law students launch their legal education through a cohort-based model.

Program Components

Prior to applying, it is important to consider the following program components and requirements. As part of, and to continue in, the program, Plus scholars are expected to:

  1. Take the August 2026 LSAT. LSAT registration and Score Preview costs are covered for program participants.

  2. Submit at least three law school applications by the first week of December 2026 (CAS registration and up to six CAS Reports are covered for program participants), as well as complete assignments designed to propel them on their journey to law school.
