FAQ: I’m having trouble logging in to my account. What should I do?

To troubleshoot, you can reset your password by clicking the Forgot User ID or Password link to receive an email to the address we have on file in your account. This will enable you to view your user ID and/or reset your password. You can also clear your cache. If you continue to have difficulty, our technical support team is here to help at <a contentTypeId='buttonLinkItem' title='1.800.336.3982' href='tel:+18003363982' displaytype='normal' opennewwindow='False'>1.800.336.3982</a>.

I’m having trouble logging in to my account. What should I do?

Law School Applications FAQs > JD Applications > Completing Applications: How do I assign LORs to law schools? 

To assign your letters, navigate to Credentials &amp; CAS in your account and select Manage LORs. Scroll to the section titled My LOR Assignments. Click Assign next to each law school application. You will need to assign the minimum number of LORs required for each law school application. You may assign additional LORs to your law school applications, provided you do not exceed their maximum LOR limit.

How do I assign LORs to law schools?

Transcripts and other academic records are required to be sent from all postsecondary institutions you attended even if:<ul><li>a degree was never received</li><li>credit was transferred from an institution and appears on your home institution’s transcript</li><li>the institution has closed</li><li>the only grades listed are “withdraw,” “incomplete,” etc.</li><li>you have just enrolled (in which case, please request that the registrar’s office send a transcript of your courses “in progress” or an official statement of enrollment with the anticipated date of completion) </li></ul>Additionally, for all postsecondary programs completed outside of the U.S., a certified copy of an original proof of graduation in the form of a certificate of graduation, diploma, or degree needs to be submitted.Please see the <a contentTypeId='linkListItem' opennewwindow='True' href='https://www.lsac.org/llm-other-law-program-applicants/application-process-llm-other-law-programs/application-0/document' displaytype='normal'>required documents list</a> for specific documents needed from the countries in which you studied.

Which transcripts or academic documents are required?

After you release your applications for processing, you can verify that they were sent to the law schools by logging into your account and checking your application status online. The law schools will request your CAS Report.

How will I know if the law schools received my applications?

Troubleshooting FAQs > Error Messages: I received an error message when I was uploading an attachment.  

You will receive a general error message if your application file size is larger than 3 megabytes. Try to remove any images, such as a photo, your r&#233;sum&#233;, etc. You may also compress your file into a PDF format, if needed.

Effective the week of August 24, all Official LSAT PrepTests in the <a contentTypeId='linkListItem' opennewwindow='False' title='LSAT Prep Library' href='https://app.lawhub.org/library' displaytype='normal'>LSAT Prep Library</a> will default into the new user interface. LawHub users will be able to complete prep tests started in the legacy UI and will retain access to their completed prep test history and score reports, but will not be able to start a new prep test in the legacy UI.
