Troubleshooting FAQs > Error Messages: I received a “Session Error” message. 

This issue is commonly caused by using the browser navigation buttons (forward page or back page) to navigate JD Services or closing the browser window before successfully logging out of the account page. Please be sure to only use the links, buttons, and tabs on the account pages to navigate.To resolve the issue, clear your browser’s cache (temporary internet files) and cookies. Begin by first logging back into your account, then immediately use the link in the upper-right corner to log out. Follow the specific procedures for your browser to clear the cache and cookies, close the browser window completely, restart the browser, log back in, and retry accessing this section of your account.

I received a “Session Error” message. 

Troubleshooting FAQs > Error Messages: I received an error message when I was uploading an attachment.  

You will receive a general error message if your application file size is larger than 3 megabytes. Try to remove any images, such as a photo, your r&#233;sum&#233;, etc. You may also compress your file into a PDF format, if needed.

Troubleshooting FAQs > Error Messages: I received a message that said I selected a term that is inconsistent with the entry term I indicated. What does that mean?

Many schools have more than one entry for a term. It is important for the entry term you select on the application list to match the entry term you indicate on that school’s application. For instance, if you select fall as the entry term from the application list and then indicate spring as the entry term on your application, you will get this error message. If you intended to select the spring application, you must first delete the fall application and then choose the spring application from the School List section.

I received a message that said I selected a term that is inconsistent with the entry term I indicated. What does that mean?

Troubleshooting FAQs > Error Messages: I accidentally selected and saved the wrong application for a law school. Now I cannot select the application I really want to complete.

You can only submit one application for each term for each law school. First, you must delete the application you saved. Click Apply to Law Schools, click Applications, and then click Active. Under the Action column, click View next to the application you want to delete. On the left side of the screen, click Delete. Click OK when prompted with “Are you sure you want to delete this application?” Your saved application will be deleted, and you will be able to open the other application for that term in the School List section.

Applications must be viewed in Adobe Reader only. Not seeing the application itself or your answers is caused by either your browser using its own version of a PDF reader or by not having Adobe Reader version 10 or later installed. If you have an earlier version of Adobe Reader, you’ll need to uninstall it, then download and install a later version. You can <a contentTypeId='linkListItem' opennewwindow='True' href='https://get.adobe.com/reader/' displaytype='normal'>download Adobe Reader</a> for free. If you have a current version of Adobe Reader and have the same issue, you may be using Mozilla Firefox, which has its own PDF viewer that is not compatible. You may want to try a different browser.A pop-up blocker can also cause a problem. You should verify that your pop-up blocker is turned off.

I’m having trouble logging in to my LawHub account. What should I do?

To troubleshoot, you can try to refresh your browser. If you are using the Firefox browser, switch to Firefox without Private Mode. If you continue to receive an error message, please contact our technical support team at 1.800.336.3982.

I got the pop-up window that says, “Oops, looks like something went wrong!” What should I do?

Try clearing your browser history/cookies/cache, then close your device browser and try again by opening a new browser window. If you continue to have difficulty, our technical support team is here to help at 1.800.336.3982.

I am unable to type in my essay for the Practice LSAT Argumentative Writing portion. What should I do?

If you have LawHub Advantage and have submitted applications during the current admission cycle, you will be able to click Application Status Tracker on your LawHub homepage after signing in to your account. First, check to make sure that you have completely submitted your applications (you can do this from your LSAC JD Account). Second, confirm which school(s) you wish to check. Some schools do not post application statuses online. If you do not see a school to which you’ve applied, you can continue to track your application with that school directly.

What do I do if my Application Status Tracker is blank?

One of my applications is missing from the Application Status Tracker. What should I do?

You have a few options:<ul><li>Navigate to the Edit Box Control, “Type here, LSAT Writing essay text area” by using control+insert+E. Begin typing into the text editor.</li><li>Use your keyboard Tab key to get into the “Type here, LSAT Writing essay text area,” and begin typing.</li><li>Bring up form controls, Insert + F5, and select “Type here, LSAT Writing essay text area.” For Chrome, begin typing. For Firefox, press the Enter key and then begin typing.</li></ul>Sighted users able to use a mouse can also click into the editor and begin typing.You can press the Tab key or the Shift+Tab keys to enter and exit the LSAT Writing essay text area.Note: If you have already typed some text into the text editor, the cursor may be positioned at the end of any text upon re-entering.

There are a few options:<ul><li>Navigate to the “Type here, LSAT Writing essay text area” via the rotor (VO+U). Mac/Chrome rotor: Access the writing area in the “Landmarks” menu, the “Form Controls” menu, and the “Text Fields” menu of the rotor. Mac/Firefox rotor: Access the writing area in the “Frames” menu of the rotor.</li><li>You can keyboard navigate (VO + right arrow) into the LSAT Writing text editor, press Enter, and begin typing.</li><li>You can keyboard Tab and Shift+Tab into and out of the “LSAT Writing essay text area,” and then begin typing. </li></ul>Sighted users able to use a mouse can also click into the editor and begin typing. Note: When in the “LSAT Writing essay text area,” you may not be able to access some of the VoiceOver commands/keystrokes. Once out of the text editor, you will be able to access these commands as usual. Note: With VO special keys locked, VO users can access the text editor via the VO rotor. To type into the editor, press Caps Lock + space bar to turn off Scan Mode and begin typing.</li></ul>Note: When tabbing into the editor, the cursor appears to be positioned at the end of any text. When using Scan Mode to enter the editor, you need to press Enter, and the cursor will move to the end of any text. You can then begin typing.
