What Is an LSAT Score Audit?
You may request a score audit after you've received your LSAT score. If the score audit results in a score that is different from the original score — either higher or lower — the result will be emailed to you and reflected in the CAS reports transmitted to the law schools to which you apply. The score audit process can take several weeks, and during that period, no new reports will be sent to law schools.
Requests to audit your LSAT responses and score must be received no later than 10 days after your score release date. Your request should be emailed to ScoreAudit@LSAC.org and must include the following:
The reason for your request
Your name and account number
Your authorization to allow LSAC to place the score audit fee of $150 on your account. The fee is $75 if you were preapproved for a fee waiver noted in JD Services.
Within two business days of receiving your request, we’ll post the score audit fee to your account. You must pay the fee after it posts to initiate the audit. (The audit process will not begin until you have paid the fee through your online account.) Only one score audit is allowed per test.
