If you’re financially under-resourced, you can apply for an LSAC fee waiver to cover many of the costs related to applying to law school, including the LSAT registration fee.
LSAT Accommodations
If you have a disability and are seeking testing accommodations, you’ll need to submit your request for testing accommodations, along with all supporting documentation, by the accommodation request deadline (opens in new browser window) associated with your test date. After you’ve registered for an upcoming LSAT, you can submit your accommodations request through your online account. Please review LSAC’s Policy on Accommodations for Test Takers with Disabilities for more information, or contact us at accom@LSAC.org or 855.384.2253 if you have questions.
Changing Your Test Date
If you’re unable or no longer wish to take the LSAT for which you have registered, you can change your test date, request an LSAT refund, or withdraw your registration. Deadlines vary for each option, and additional fees may apply.
LSAT Score Release — Quick Facts
Most test takers will have their score released at 9 a.m. ET via their LawHub accounts on the score release date of the administration. If you have an approved LSAT Argumentative Writing or an LSAT Writing sample from a previous administration, you do not need to complete a new LSAT Argumentative Writing sample to receive your score.
Your scores will only be released if you have an approved LSAT Argumentative Writing sample on file and there are no holds on your account. If you’re a first-time test taker, you’ll have to complete LSAT Argumentative Writing before your score will be released.
If you’ve given your prelaw advisor permission to see your score, it will be released to them the day after it’s released to you.
If you purchased Score Preview, your score will be released to others only after you have chosen to have it released, or at the end of the Score Preview period if you haven’t canceled the score.
